The Osprey
As with each of the homes offered at Back Creek Landing, inspiration for the exterior of The Osprey is drawn from the traditional styling displayed in the nearby towns of St. Michaels, Oxford and Easton, where wide and deep front porches, lapp siding, prominent roof dormers and set-back garages define the streetscape.

The Osprey entry is through a formal foyer, with two spacious rooms - a dining room and a "flex room," which can be used as a parlor, study, home office, studio or library - to either side. Openness and volume ceilings draw you into The Osprey's Great Room, Kitchen and Breakfast Nook areas. Also capturing the eye are the built-in entertainment center and fireplace, under-stair bookcases, and views of either woodlands or waterfowl ponds to the rear. The generous first-floor master bedroom suite includes a master bath that features a separate jetted tub and enclosed shower, and an eight-foot double bowl vanity with a full-width mirror.

The second floor contains two bedrooms, one with a sidewall French door that enhances sunlight and cross-ventilation and encourages alternative uses of this space. Potential second-floor "bonus space" can add 400-560 square feet to the home size and satisfy a variety of uses, from home fitness center, to play room or bunk room for children or grandchildren, or a guest suite containing its own bath and separate entry.

From the floor plan design and aesthetics to the hundreds of smaller details affecting functionality and livability, The Osprey is a home that will meet your needs today, be adaptable for future needs and hold and grow in value over time. top
